Florence Anthony, the author of the best-selling novel, Keeping Secrets, Telling Lies, is always on the go. The host of the daily radio feature "Gossip to GO With Flo" syndicated by Jones Radio Network, "Flo" is also the Editor-in-Chief of Black Elegance magazine, which boasts a national circulation of 145,000. She also writes a weekly column called "Go with the Flo" in the New York Amsterdam News, Philadelphia Sunday Sun, BRE, and New York Trend. A graduate of Howard University, with post-graduate studies at the University of Michigan and Northwestern University, Flo was the first African-American woman to work in the sports and entertainment departments at the New York Post, and the first African-American woman in the nation to work on a gossip page: the Post's highly revered Page Six. She later became the first African-American woman in the nation to write a column for a tabloid, the National Examiner from 1993-2001. Beginning in the mid '80s, Flo worked as a press agent for Larry Holmes, Muhammad Ali, Michael Spinks, Saoul Mamby, Matthew Saad Muhammad, and many more, eventually working her way up to publishing her own sports magazine, Gladiator. A familiar face on television, Florence has been seen on many shows and networks, including Sally, Ricki Lake, Montel Williams, Maury Povich, Matt Lauer's Stars and Legends, the E! True Hollywood Story, CNN, MSNBC, BET, Extra, Inside Edition, and Entertainment Tonight. Flo currently resides in New York City.
